Tetracast – Episode 224: Meeting the Dungeons

Welcome to the latest edition of Tetracast, the RPG site’s regular and seemingly weekly podcast!

This week has been a bit lighter for new releases and news in the RPG world, so we open up Josh’s PC building adventure (and other life events), before we get into the main topic of this week. Encounters in Dungeons is a surprising, somewhat odd, yet interesting new take on Square Enix that is sure to tickle the imaginations of those who love old-school dungeon crawlers. We then go out a bit of the genre to talk about our experiences with some non-RPGs in Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania as well as the demo of Kaiju wars.

This week’s news is titled with previews for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker, with a release date for the next JRPG Monark landing in that suddenly filled February exit window. We also discuss the new announcements made for Super Robot Wars 30, arriving in the West in a few weeks on PC (a first for the main series).
