Shadow warrior developer, Flying Wild Hog, announced Space punks – A massive cooperative action role-playing game set in an ever-changing world. The game will be published by Runescape studio Jagex, and will be released on consoles and PC.

An official description reads as follows:
A top-down looter shooter, Space Punks features insane, over-the-top action in a unique and irreverent sci-fi setting. Players have the opportunity to fight their way to fame, glory, and wealth by accepting lucrative contracts on distant planets through thick and thin.
Space Punks is designed to be a living, breathing and ever-changing game world – a true living game built in accordance with Flying Wild Hog’s creative mission to create action-packed, fast-paced, and totally unique titles that transport players through unexpected adventures and exciting new worlds.
Space punks will enter Early Access on PC on July 14, followed by an open beta on PC in the winter of 2021. A console release will follow in 2022.
Flying Wild Hog and Jagex have yet to specify which consoles Space punks is in development for.
In February 2020, Flying Wild Hog revealed that it had three unannounced projects in the works. Now that Space punks was revealed, fans can celebrate its mystery project with publisher Focus Home Interactive, which was announced last September. The studio had previously said it wanted to deliver AAA quality experiences after âfloatingâ in the âAAA / indie zoneâ for a long time.
