The summer of hot games continued to unfold at the all-virtual E3 2021 event, with Nintendo, Ubisoft and others revealing exciting details for their highly anticipated titles.
Following the live launch of Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest, E3 gave little to no news on video game-inspired TV and movie titles, but offered gamers a plethora of updates on video games. projects ranging from that of Ubisoft. Avatar: Pandora’s Borders, inspired by James Cameron’s sci-fi movie franchise, to that of Nintendo Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild after.

UBISOFT
Ubisoft
On Saturday, Ubisoft took to the virtual stage at E3 to brag about a number of upcoming titles, including Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Extraction, Rainbow Six Siege and a celebration of the 20th anniversary of Ghost recognition. The French games company has unveiled updates for Assassins Creed: Valhalla, a first look at Sam Richardson in the adaptation of Mishna Wolff’s feature film Werewolves inside and teased Giancarlo Esposito as Anton Castillo in Far Cry 6.

Ubisoft also unveiled the trailer for Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, a Switch strategy game that brings together Ubisoft’s chaotic bunnies with iconic Nintendo characters.
The Ubisoft Forward took out the big guns at the end by announcing Avatar: Pandora’s Borders. Pandora’s game, due for release in 2022, is inspired by Cameron’s 2009 blockbuster. After revealing delays for the sequel to the original film and three subsequent films in July 2020, it looks like Pandora Borders will be the next new content of the Avatar-verse.

XBOX & BETHESDA
Microsoft’s XBOX and Bethesda slot followed on Sunday. The presentation was crammed with exclusive announcements. Todd Howard of Bethesda featured Starfield, the developer’s most recent IP in 25 years. Coming exclusively to Xbox Series X / S and PC, Starfield is expected to drop on November 11, 2022.
The XBOX presentation also touted the updates for Battlefield 2042, Hades, Halo Infinite, Among Us, Diablo 2, Elder Scrolls, the star 12 minutes from Annapurna Interactive and more.
Pirates of the CaribbeanCaptain Jack Sparrow and Davy Jones attended the Sunday presentation as Sea of ââThieves created his A pirate’s life expansion.
In addition to the teasers for Back4Blood, Forza Horizon 5 and The Ascent, XBOX released an ironic trailer for Outer Worlds 2, the sequel to Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division’s 2019 space role-playing game.
XBOX’s Phil Spencer closed the E3 presentation by announcing Red drop, a vampire first-person shooter from Bethesda’s Arkane Studios exclusive for the Series X / S console.

Major Square Enix announcements have tapped into beloved Marvel stories.
One of the highlights of this year’s E3 announcements is the Eidos Montreal event Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy video game. Based on the hit Marvel movie, guardians of the galaxy will see players play as Star-Lord and travel as Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, and Drax. The game is slated for release on October 26, 2021.
Square Enix also unveiled a Black Panther-expansion inspired for its Marvel Avengers Game. The “War for Wakanda” update will arrive in August.
the Kingdom Hearts developer then revealed Stranger From Heaven: Final Fantasy Origin, the latest title in the iconic JRPG franchise. Stranger of paradise, which will be available on PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X / S, Xbox One, and PC, follows Jack and his allies, Ash and Jed, as they journey to defeat mayhem. The new game will land in 2022.

Capcom
Capcom, the developer behind the resident Evil franchise, kept its presentation brief. Slot E3 featured DLC updates for the latest project in the RE series, Resident Evil: Village. Capcom also revealed that its multiplayer title, Resident Evil: Re: Verse, should be launched next month.
The presentation also touted features and new gameplay footage for the upcoming The Chronicles of the Grand As prosecutor. The game is also slated for release next month on July 27.
NINTENDO

The Nintendo gaming juggernaut returned to E3 with a bang, giving updates on new titles in the Metroid and The Legend of Zelda franchisees.
While Metroide 4 is still in the works, Nintendo has announced Terror of the metroids, a side-scroller that will arrive on Nintendo Switch on October 8.
Nintendo also shared trailers, release dates and gameplay for Mario Party Superstars, WarioWare: Get It Together, Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, Super Smash Bros. and more.
The gaming company has remained silent on the Switch Pro but appeased eager for suites The Legend of Zelda Fans. Nintendo Direct concluded with LoZ Series producer Eiji Aonuma shares new trailer and release date for work in progress Breath of the wild after.
The sequel looks to continue the beautifully immersive world of the 2017 game, which won the Game of the Year award at the 2017 The Game Awards. From glimpses of allies Bokoblin and Stone Talus to snippets of new environments, the latest Breath of the wild The sequel trailer gives fans something to chew on for the years leading up to the game’s 2022 release.
