For example, director Patty Jenkins Star Wars: Rogue Squadron is an original story. But Jenkins is also very familiar with the Rogue Squadron stories that preceded it.
Going through Heroic hollywood, Jenkins told The Associated Press that his film would honor the Rogue Squadron stories from previous derivative material.
“Michael Stackpole’s books and video games and all the Rogue Squadron books, there’s an amazing story that’s really important to honor, ”Jenkins said. “And yet he has to be brought to a new era because we have to tell a new story with him and so you try to mix the best of everything and make it the great fighter pilot movie that I still have. wanted to do too. It’s a big mix of things that you try to put together while trying to keep the story simple.
