Old School RuneScape introduces Tombs of Amascut, a brand new dungeon coming next week

Old School RuneScape fans are about to get a ton of stuff to do with the launch of the latest raid next week. It’s called Tombs of Amascut and will launch on August 24th and will provide players with an extremely challenging experience as it’s set to be one of the most challenging dungeons in Old School RuneScape. The dungeon is as customizable as it is challenging, so there are plenty of editable options. The rewards won’t be less as they provide some of the best weapons and armor available.

The Tombs of Amascut dungeon on Old School RuneScape also brings a new summoning system, which makes every raid a new experience. This uniqueness comes from the customization ability I mentioned above. Before starting each game, players will have the option to choose from a long list of modifiers including both buffs and debuffs.

Gameplay can be made as easy or as difficult as possible and there are countless combinations to be made. Stacking will increase the overall effect while increasing the difficulty, giving players a chance to get their hands on exclusive and powerful resources.

This raid follows on from the Beneath Cursed Sands quests, as players must do everything in their power to prevent Amascut from ascending to godhood. The entire mission can be divided into four main areas – each with a unique type of combat and puzzle. These can also be done in any order, which further adds to the customization.

Finally, the nice loot players will receive for successfully looting the dungeon includes the Shadow of Tumeken, a two-handed staff, Masori armor, a three-piece ranged gear set, Elidinis’ Ward, a shield powerful and magical, Lightbearer, a special attack regeneration ring, and Fang of Osmumten, a one-handed weapon.
