CD Projekt RED’s recent Q1 2021 investor call recently revealed new details about the upcoming new patch for the Cyberpunk 2077 video game.
The developer has revealed that a new patch is coming for the controversial video game and will be released in a few weeks. It was revealed that it won’t be a major update, but just a small patch with fixes and tweaks.
CD Projekt RED manager Adam Kicinski shared some details on what the developers are planning for the next 2-3 months.
I don’t want to pre-announce things; we are ready to say that the next patch – not a big one – will arrive in the next few weeks. It’s almost ready. Of course, we are also working on other patches, and to add color to them – the initial patches mainly focused on low level technical aspects – but not only, of course; we also fixed some issues and bugs, but we focused on stability, performance, etc. These are the most important aspects, in our opinion. Subsequently, we turned more and more towards improving things. I don’t want to promise anything, of course, but in the future the course of action will be more in the direction of improving things; further improve the quality.
Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
