Famitsu announced that Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV is currently available to Japanese fans via digital distribution, although the platforms used were not specified. Additionally, a physical Blu-ray release will be available for pre-order on February 9 for ¥13,900 ($115). This edition of the film contains the following bonus features, translated by our team Ryūji:
- A 4K BluRay disc containing the film + bonus features (more below)
- A non-4K version of the film on a second BluRay disc
- The SCENARIO BOOK, a book containing a copy of the film’s script
- The KINGSGLAIVE FINAL FANTASY XV file fragment, a booklet containing various images.
About the bonuses on the disc:
They contain special episodes and audio commentaries by Hajime Tabata + some members of the Final Fantasy XV Production team. According to the Amazon listing, these are all new comments never before publicly commented. Plus, if you buy the Blu-Ray box set on Amazon, you’ll earn five high-quality art prints with your order. Finally, this version will offer 4K, HDR and Dolby Atmos for the “ultimate kingsglaive experience.”
