The Comedy Central series vast city follows Abbi Jacobson and Illana Glazer as two best friends in New York who struggle to succeed in their respective lives. The Season 2 episode titled “Kirk Steele” features a subplot in which Glenn plays a critical cashier who works at Beacon’s Closet, where a desperate Abbi seeks to trade his old clothes for cash.
The cashier’s unwarranted rudeness along with her deadpan vocal delivery make for some of the funniest moments of the episode. It’s solid evidence of Glenn’s ability to play goofs as opposed to the typical “nice” characters she’s best known for.
3 Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse – 8.4
Having won the Oscar for best animated film, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was a groundbreaking achievement in animation and was hailed by critics and audiences alike as one of the best non-MCU Marvel movies. In the film, Glenn voices Peni Parker, another spider-person from a futuristic universe who pilots SP//dr (his father’s mecha suit), who acts as his spider suit.
Glenn manages to bring a youthful energy and strong resilience to Peni that viewers can very easily admire. Much like Nicolas Cage’s Spider-Man Noir and John Mulaney’s Spider-Ham, the character has quickly become a fan favorite and fans continue to hold out hope that she will return in one of the upcoming sequels.

For anyone looking for a show that will comfort and depress them simultaneously, Netflix’s animated comedy-drama BoJack Rider will certainly do the trick. Glenn voices Stefani Stilton, the airy and overly brutal mouse owner of the “Girl Croosh” website, who was Diane’s boss for a time.
Much like Margo Martindale and Patton Oswalt, Glenn delivers a hilarious performance that brilliantly manages to counter the effects of the most depressing aspects of the show’s history. There may be plenty to choose from when it comes to the best adult animated shows on Netflix, but the humor of recurring characters like Stefani makes BoJack Rider one of the most entertaining options on the service.

In the series finale, Glenn plays Katie Summers, a nervous young actress who, while waiting for an audition, receives words of encouragement from the series’ protagonist, Penny.
Despite only appearing in one episode, and despite her limited screen time, it was already clear that Glenn had the makings of a star. It’s fascinating to visit the early days of a famous actor’s career, and it shows just how far she really got in the entertainment industry.
