The action role-playing game Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is getting a new DLC storyline centered on Bardock, which should arrive next year.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarotthe action role-playing game (RPG), will be getting an all-new DLC storyline that spotlights none other than Son Goku’s father, Bardock.
Bandai Namco Entertainment American has announced the game’s new content with a trailer that gives viewers a taste of what the “Bardock – Alone Against Fate” DLC has in store. The scenario is based on the Dragon Ball Z: Bardock – Goku’s Father special. The new DLC content will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S in 2023.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot debuted in January 2020. The game lets players experience the story of the iconic anime series in a whole new way. It not only includes story arcs and gameplay inspired by Cell Saga and Buu Saga, but also light side quests that give fans a deeper look at the characters and world of Dragon Ball. Whereas Kakarot received mixed reviews from professional critics upon release, it did well financially. The game sold over 1.5 million copies in its first week, debuting at number one in sales in the UK and number two in Japan. At the end of last year, around seven million units were shipped worldwide.
The dragonball The multimedia franchise began in 1984 when mangaka Akira Toriyama began publishing his best-selling iconic series in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump. Told across 519 chapters, the original tale follows Goku from childhood to adulthood, detailing his adventures as he trains in martial arts and battles dangerous but often wacky villains. Toei Animation has adapted Toriyama’s story into two anime series: dragonballwhich premiered in 1986 and covered the manga’s first 324 chapters, and Dragon Ball Z, which debuted in 1989 and handled the remaining chapters.
Since then the dragonball The franchise has evolved to include several anime and manga spin-offs and sequels as well as a plethora of tie-in movies, companion books, theme park attractions, and, of course, video games. The upcoming “Bardock – Alone Against Fate” DLC release isn’t the franchise’s only recent development. In particular, the last film, Dragon Ball Super: Super heroes, premiered in Japan in June. The film earned over $85 million at the worldwide box office, making it the second highest dragonball movie so far.
