An issue involving the latest NVIDIA GeForce drivers made Cyberpunk 2077‘s map unreadable, but a recent patch may help gamers fix it.

Although Cyberpunk 2077 was riddled with major bugs when it was first released, some of the game’s issues are more recent, such as the card issue resulting from NVIDIA’s GeForce 522.25 driver. After updating to the latest driver, many NVIDIA users found that their Cyberpunk 2077 the map was unreadable and covered in large artifacts. Since the map is essential for navigating all of Cyberpunk 2077‘s gigs and quests, this particular issue had a major impact on players. Although there have been workarounds available before, an official patch was only recently deployed to properly fix the issue.


Cyberpunk 2077 is no stranger to bugs, sometimes even game-breaking ones. The card issue was officially acknowledged in mid-October and tied to Game Ready driver version 522.25. Support articles have been posted on the official website CD Project Red support page, explaining that the only fixes involved rolling back to a previous version of the driver. The issue was identified just days after the release of build 522.25. The quick response may have come as a pleasant surprise to critics of the game’s creators, who may not trust the studio due to claims that CD Projekt Red deliberately lied about Cyberpunk 2077 before its release and put the developers to the test.

On October 16, however, the official Nvidia The support page also discussed the issue, stating that a fix will be pushed out to PC platforms over the next few days. There are also steps listed for those who prefer to manually fix the problem themselves. Cyberpunk 2077 players no longer have to worry about their pilots causing problems in the game. Obviously, there are plenty of options available to make Night City easy to explore again.
