Meanwhile, themes of humanity fall by the wayside as the general population seems to have accepted the cybernetic implants.

Deus Ex certainly plays better with the core ideals of cyberpunk than Cyberpunk 2077, and should maintain this momentum for a future title. In the end, Eidos may just have to expand on what made Deus Ex so good in the first place to do what Cyberpunk 2077 could not.
