Borderlands is a first-person shooter role-playing game franchise set on the planet Pandora. After being ravaged and abandoned by big corporations in search of treasure, the workforce left behind takes over the planet and turns it into a land of lawlessness. However, following the discovery of Mystical Vaults, corporations return to the planet to plunder its riches. The film adaptation will be directed by Eli Roth and written by Craig Mazin.

The film will follow her as she returns to her home planet, Pandora, to find the missing daughter of mighty Atlas. There, she will form an unlikely team that will quickly discover that the fate of the universe rests in her hands.
