Final Fantasy VI Remaster release date
Final Fantasy VI Remaster is part of the second half of a series of remasters of classic titles that began in July 2021 with the release of FF 1, 2 and 3. Now, just over 6 months later, we’re on the point to get your hands on the second half of the original hexology.
As of now, we know that Final Fantasy VI Remaster will release sometime in February 2022. There’s no firm date for the game yet, but we should know something soon as the release window is approaching at big steps.

Even though Final Fantasy VI is quite an old game, it’s unclear what kind of changes we might find in these Pixel Remasters. The first 3 games in the series have been updated significantly and in most cases these changes have been well received.
Final Fantasy VI is something of the darling of the original series, so there’s a lot about this game that’s a perfect remaster. Otherwise, Square Enix might find a group of angry fans on its doorstep.
