Final Fantasy V Pixel Remaster Coming November 10

New: Final Fantasy V will finally arrive next month with graphical improvements, revamped soundtracks, improved gameplay and more.

Square Enix today announced that the next entry in the Final Fantasy pixel remaster series, Final Fantasy V, will come to life with enhanced pixel graphics and sound, as a faithful 2D pixel remaster in North America on November 10 for Steam and mobile platforms.

Final Fantasy V presents the story of a young man and his Chocobo, who find themselves drawn to friends who will change their fate. When the crystals that balance the powers of the world are threatened, the king rushes to the rescue… to disappear. Well regarded for its detailed and customizable work system, which allows players to freely select the works to be mastered for their characters, Final Fantasy V supports many different playstyles and extends the iconic Active Time Battle system, which made his debut in Final Fantasy IV.

  • Universally updated and redesigned 2D pixel graphics for modern hardware, with pixel designs of iconic Final Fantasy characters created by original artist and current collaborator Kazuko Shibuya.
  • Beautifully rearranged soundtracks, supervised by original composer, Nobuo Uematsu
  • Improved gameplay, including a modernized user interface, automatic combat options, and more.
