A Final Fantasy 7 fan sketches an amazing original illustration of the infamous game villain Sephiroth for the community to enjoy.
Many in the video game community would probably agree that a villain is probably one of the main factors that make a successful title. This is seen in the popularity of Final fantasy 7the main protagonist of Sephiroth. And yet FF7 decades ago, many fans of the game probably still remember the sinister vibes Sephiroth exudes throughout the story. Now another fan has sketched Sephiroth in all his villainous glory, sharing his artwork online for the FF7 community to appreciate and appreciate.
Final fantasy 7 fans can attest to how famous Sephiroth has become, as he often makes appearances in many other Square Enix titles such as Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy World, and Dissidia. The character seems to be well-liked enough around the world that he is even added as one of the more recent DLC fighters of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. With Sephiroth still relevant in the video game world today, it’s no surprise that fans are also creating original artwork that showcases their love and admiration for the character, even though he’s mostly known for its antagonism. FF7Cloud Strife’s main character from as far back as fans can remember.
As a way to channel their love for Sephiroth and to celebrate the game’s CG movie anniversary Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children, Reddit user TylorHepnorArt sketched the character and shared it on the online platform. The image is a roughly colored sketch of the antagonist staring at the viewer with his shining eyes and threateningly holding his powerful signature Masamune weapon. Although the artist released the artwork with the sketch lines still intact, the combination of colors and their depiction of the infamous Sephiroth truly makes this an incredible piece of fan art.
The Redditor also wanted to share this particular fan art as a way to show viewers their artistic process. Looking at their other posts, they started and continued to work on a “Final fantasy 7 Drawing Series “, where they produced hyperrealistic illustrations of other FF7 characters. This includes Cloud, Zack, Tifa, Aerith, Barret, Red XIII, Cait Sith, Cid, Vincent Valentine, and even other villains such as Rude and Reno. They also shared their unique take on Yuffie Kisaragi, in the days leading up to the FF7 Remake Intergrade DLC release.
Since more characters will likely be introduced in Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 2, fans are hoping that TylorHepnorArt will continue his series of drawings. Community members will just have to wait for the artist to re-post to Reddit to see their latest fan art.
