Cyberpunk 2077 thrives on its most underrated feature

Cyberpunk 2077 has an enormous and understated attention to detail, although many examples of this can easily be missed by the player.

Cyberpunk 2077, for many enthusiastic fans, has finally reached its ambitious potential thanks to a series of recent updates, and the full-featured nature of the game now allows players to embrace the CD Projekt Red title’s most underrated feature – l attention to detail. Ahead of the December 2020 release of Cyberpunk 2077most of the gaming world expected a title that would match the universally loved and critically acclaimed game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the latest major project from the developer. Despite a rocky two-year opener, the next-gen version in particular allowed fans to dive deep into the unpredictable and dynamic world of Night City.

For those who know The Witcher 3CD Projekt Red’s flagship title, it wouldn’t be surprising if the attention to detail in Cyberpunk 2077 is equally comprehensive – and many of the smart touches in the world can easily be overlooked. For an RPG to feel fully immersive and true to form, each separate game should be unique and have moments that those who pay close attention to the game world will feel rewarded for, and cyberpunk follow through on those promises. Whether it’s a single line of dialogue or an event in the game world, if the player is looking for that extra detail or information in a quest or on the streets, they’ll likely find one.

This is often the case with RPGs, like the witcher Where Skyrim, that many of these hidden details can be found by reading notes or listening to dialogue with a keen eye or ear for new information. Throughout the game, there are 156 NCPD scanners located throughout Night City, and these can provide additional quests and rewards to V (the named protagonist of Cyberpunk 2077), although they can be easily missed. Due to the detective nature of these short side quests, some involve an investigative storyline and therefore a heightened sense of attention to detail.

One mission, in particular, “Reported crime: don’t forget the parking brake,” displays the level of detail (proven by Kansaqe on YouTube) and variety in Cyberpunk 2077, which is arguably more impressive since it’s such a short and ultimately avoidable mission. The quest itself is very simple – find a van full of loot that has sunk in the water and collect it. Around the area where the van is suggested, V will find scavengers actively searching for the sunken vehicle to no avail, which will need to be dealt with. In the days following this Cyberpunk 2077 On the concert side, V can return to the site and find Jeremiah Franklin – a Nomad mourning his eliminated V friends before looting the van – who will ask the player to be left alone.

Details like this aren’t completely new to RPGs, but they’re still exciting and unique to see, and CD Projekt Red has taken steps to ensure that occurrences like these are more common in cyberpunk. Away from quests, random events like NPCs fighting and arguing in the streets, and even characters crashing into the roads, as the Reddit user recounted. Crooked Loycan happen at any point in V’s adventures. The charm of understated random events and sheer attention to detail make Cyberpunk 2077now fixed after patch 1.5, a must-have for fans of the genre.
