Just a little floating, why not!
Who doesn’t like a good mod? The creative possibilities are literally endless, like racing cars or turning the protagonist into the Hulk, all of those things are great to experiment with. However, when mods are added to games that allow us to do normal things, that’s when the blood really starts to pump. Take this one, for example, there’s apparently been a new Cyberpunk 2077 mod added to the game that features an ever-changing and in-depth stock market system – this is what we are talking about now.
Why would anyone create a Cyberpunk 2077 mod just to add a stock exchange? Because why the hell not, that’s why. This new system has been added to CD Project Redis an open-world sci-fi game, and it looks a bit like the one you might play in GTA 5 which became a huge hit. This means you can experience the stock market just in time for the next phantom freedom Downloadable Content.
This mod is simply called “Stock Market and News System” and it was created by Scornthegreat and KeanuWheeze. The mod is set to introduce a whole new system to the game that will see every PC come with a “stocks” tab that records the corporate fortunes of 33 companies in the game, including Budget Arms, Kaukaz, NCPD, and Darra Polytechnic. This means you can now play around with buying and selling shares in all of these companies whenever you want and hopefully make money beyond your wildest dreams. But here’s the best part about it, all the missions and side quests you take on, the outcome of these can affect the stock price, which could be terrible news if you’re not smart with your finances.
If you’ve played the game, you’ll know that you end up completing missions for different businesses throughout, which means if you’re successful, it will greatly benefit that business, and if you’re smart with your money and you support to complete certain missions, then you might earn a buck or two. In fact, the power you wield in this game means you can easily manipulate the stock market for your own financial gain. Think of it this way, if you buy a company stock one day and then do a mission for it the next day, you can then resell it for a higher price. And it also works the other way around, because you could play around with a company’s business and then buy a stock at a fraction of the price the next day.
There are so many things that can influence the stock market in this game, like killing a policeman or causing car crashes, the creative possibilities of earning money have now been increased a bit, so be sure to experiment correctly the next time you visit Night City.
