Video game developer CD Projekt Red remains uncertain whether and when Sony will allow Cyberpunk 2077 to return to PlayStation Store.

The class action lawsuit filed against CD Projekt Red in December 2020 was also discussed at the recent shareholders meeting. The developer shared that the lawsuit for the poor performance of Cyberpunk 2077 on previous-generation consoles will be filed in court in June. The lawsuit, filed by Rosen Law Firm, was the first of two class actions against CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077.
The futuristic role-playing video game Cyberpunk 2077 was initially withdrawn from PlayStation Store following reports of several groundbreaking bugs, glitches and crashes during the game’s launch. Many gamers have reported the game to be “virtually unplayable” on the latest generation consoles (that is, i.e. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One).
