The class action lawsuit filed against CD Projekt Red in December 2020 was also discussed at the recent shareholders meeting. The lawsuit, filed by Rosen Law Firm, was the first of two class actions against CD Projekt Red’s Cyberpunk 2077.

The futuristic role-playing video game Cyberpunk 2077 was initially withdrawn from PlayStation Store following reports of several groundbreaking bugs, glitches and crashes during the game’s launch. Many gamers have reported the game to be “virtually unplayable” on the latest generation consoles (that is, i.e. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One). Sony Interactive Entertainment President and CEO Jim Ryan previously made a subtle comment on Cyberpunk 2077of controversial release while discussing PlayStation’s decision to delay the release of some of their upcoming games. “[There] There are two approaches to this: you can either stick to the date and release the game regardless of the quality, or you can ship it when it’s good, “Ryan said.” We’ve always taken the latter approach. There have been some fairly well-known examples of publishers trying the first approach. “
